The original wireless xbox adapter works for it, and last I saw it was like $30 on amazon or anything like that

If you have a computer/laptop within ethernet cable reach and with a spare ethernet port, you can share the comps internet connection and hook up the xbox to the pc.

A really really long cable, some local shops might even make it to size for you

well, I'm assuming eclipse lives with his parents still and don't want a really long cable to be going through the house

Alternative to cutting holes in things is networking through your electrical outlets.

Unless you really really want Xbox Live 24/7, I am sticking with caff and the really long cable method.

I mean 100ft is more than plenty. And only 8$! And it is pink. You know you love pink eclipse.

Bought a 100ft cable for 15 bucks, my Dad helped me run it through the floor.  Big Grin

Open 'Network Connections' (either via 'Control Panel', or right-click 'My Network places', choose 'Properties').
Highlight your two (or more) adapters you wish to combine, right-click on them and choose 'Bridge Connections'.

This is create a new virtual adapter called 'Network Bridge'. Basically your two Ethernet ports 'pass-thru' data. This works with wireless and copper.
