So we were talking about the instruments we play on IRC and we thought a thread about the music we make would be in order.

Myself, I'm learning to play the tenor saxophone... I should really resume my studies because I've been slacking with all the busyness I've gotten myself into.

I've been playing Guitar for about 6 years, bass for about 5, Drums for 3 and piano for a few months. The only thing I'm any good at is drums though

I play in a four piece band called Sunnyside Atrium (lulz, it's not as emo as it sounds) where we play quite a bit of the music I write. :3

drums for like 10 years, havent played much in the past 2-3 so i've lost all my chops, but i'm not terrible .. play mostly classic rock and in the pocket stuff with my dad, aspire to be able to play some good metal like the big boys.. but it'll never happen.

Guitar for like 5 years, still play that almost every day... I'd post my youtube videos but i dont like showing off my little girl skills... =\ (but really you can probably guess the username haha)
mostly play soft rock/folky stuff, huge fan of making rap/hiphop songs into acoustic covers.  I learned chords and that about it... so i make do with that.

been playing the drums for about a month and a half now. mostly metal influenced (double kick and all, mmm), but also dig jazz style.

also will be picking up a microkorg as i've been having a lot of fun playing on my cousin's keyboard for the last couple of weeks

I write for percussion ensemble and solo music. I'm currently writing a marimba solo, I'll throw up a recording whenever I'm finished.

I play the tenor sax as well, though I haven't had a good chance to pick it up in many years. I used to do a lot of competing with it in highschool, both solo and with the band; we did reasonably well, as did i.
