Somehow I SERIOUSLY doubt they would unlock a feature in the PS3 that lets you pirate their games easier, especially with them not even wanting to support PS2 games on the PS3.

That's okay though, I'll just use my PC to emulate BECAUSE THEY'RE BITCHES.

On that note I am also currently downloading like 60GB of other PS2 games, pretty much everything ever made that I never got a chance to play and don't want to pay 60+$ for because it's old/rare/etc. (lol Silent Hill 2)

Somehow I SERIOUSLY doubt they would unlock a feature in the PS3 that lets you pirate their games easier, especially with them not even wanting to support PS2 games on the PS3.

100% dependent on your comp. I remember looking into emulators back in like 2002 or something when PS2 emulation was just a myth, and PSX was buggy and no one believed it would ever work. PSX works great now, I've heard GC emulation works well too but I haven't tried it yet. Fighters work great, I'm averaging 100fps and having to limit on Marvel vs Capcom 2, Capcom vs SNK 2, etc. None of the RPG torrents have finished yet, but according to the specs of people who are talking about having played FFX/other RPGs, the others should run pretty smooth. I did have a problem with Clock Tower 3 bugging at like 30fps, but I think it was just the torrent being badly compressed and fucked up in general.

Yeah, PCSX2 works great for the few super popular games that had a bunch of specific tweaks to make them run on it but everything else ranges from crap to not working at all.

I have tried Steambot Chronicles, Ace Combat (any) and Warriors Orochi and it couldn't run any of them passably if at all.  I'm only interested in running games over emulation that would actually see benefits from doing so (improved framerate/loading times, or widescreen progressive support), and none have worked so far.  I'm gonna take a wild guess that Shadow of the Colossus and Disaster Report aren't gonna do great either.
