So, I've got an older version of Visual Boy Advance (ver. 10 apparently?), and Mother 3. I copy them over to my netbook, and the VBA has an error opening. So, I download the newest version.
I try to load a save state...and I get an error about it being the wrong version. The latest update is 1.7. I also tried the 1.0 version, but no luck there either. halp ;-;? And with strange aeons, even Death may lay down in the street and die.

That's all it tells me. It's the wrong version.

Yeah. Just my savestates don't work. Tho I have been saving in game tho so...
