Stepping back from admin stuff

Well, the day has come that I hoped wouldn't, but I need to step down from any and all admin responsibilities that I have with BRB,U. For awhile now you may have noticed that I really haven't been around much. In short my life has gotten busy again, with various responsibilities I've taken on piling up. Added on to this is my decision to try and improve my lot in life, or at least get out of Atlantic Canada, by looking at a new job and the possibility of going back to school, and I have very little free time for much of anything. Sadly among the things I am doing (which I won't get into), administrating BRB, U is pretty far down on the list of priorities.

I originally did see myself as a community manager and would like to think that for awhile at least I did a good job, however now that Surf has thankfully filled those shoes (not sure if that has been announced yet. Hope I didn't prematurely let the cat out of the bag) I think now is the best time to step back. I do want to apologize for waiting as long as I did though, as it was unfair to the community to assume a role for so long that I could not properly keep.

Keep in mind that I'm not going anywhere. I will still be around as much as I've always been to post in the forums and in irc. Heck, something needs to keep me sane when I have nothing to do at work for weeks on end. As always I'll play games when I can, and would like to continue to contribute with contests, hosting games or such. However unless absolutely necessary I am no longer an admin. For all actual responsibilities to the community and the surrounding areas I am stepping back, as I just can't fulfill that role. So anything I have been doing, or you might expect me to do soon is no longer something I will be doing. I apologize for any long, outstanding things that should've been done by now (*cough* stats *cough), but if someone else is willing to put in the effort I can take steps to help out in terms of access, and if someone does get a better host I am definitely willing to help contribute financially.

Thanks for all the grief, headaches and fun, and I look forward to viewing things on the "normal" side of the fence from now on. <3
