After about 24 hours, my ratio of curse words to non-curse words becomes heavily weighted toward the former.

With Forte, we pulled either 6 or 7 days ALMOST straight of CS1.6 a couple summers ago. We both hit about 72-80 hours (I remember, cause Xfire) of no sleep, then I took about an hour nap, woke up, and he did the same. We did this about 4-6 more times over the next few days, and I remember the week total of hours for gameplay was at like 158, and we lol'd because we had gotten about one night's sleep in 7 days. On like the 5th day I was so tired that I fell off a REALLY big ladder in some custom map, and instead of jamming foward to catch it, I faceplanted my monitor at full force and wound up looking at the ceiling with him laughing like a fucking maniac.

This is pathetic.

You're just mad you've never pulled more than a day without sleep, much less something as badass as staying up until you slammed your face into a giant CRT monitor.

My longest was 40 hours last week, made possible by a single bottle of Mountain Dew. I did one last Tuesday night, slept Wednesday night, then did another Thursday night. And I'll probably have to do another one next week, solely because I'm the worst procrastinator ever.

Well, that doesn't sound the least bit sleazy.

Totally without sleep, 38 hours.

During the last week my Senior Design project was due, though, I got a total of 11 hours of sleep in 6 days (144 hours). I was hallucinating while I was giving my final presentation to my lab group, and as soon as I was done I went home, laid down in my clothes, and slept for 18 hours.

Also, you have to pull an all-nighter to write five pages? Weak.

What kind of writing? A report? Fiction? Non-fiction? Fan fiction? Erotic fan fiction?

Argumentation with 8-10 references. I'm arguing in favor of anarchism. The problem is that it's harder to find references than you might think. So far I'm just arguing logically, and I'm going to try shoving in a few references later. English class sucks.

Read V for Vendetta.  Also true anarchism requires either a well evolved culture or the belief that survival of the fittest should apply to us again.

Well if I don't count the time that I had real insomnia... My record stands on... 7 days I think...

Started by going to a party on a friday night at the start of 2 weeks off. Me and a friend of mine had a great time and we met other cool people. They were talking about a huge illegal festival they were going to afterwards and this sounded like a lot of fun. So when the party ended on sunday afternoon we hopped on the train to go to this festival. We arrived at the festival around 20:00 and it was just starting to get awesome. So until the end of the party we danced, talked to people, did some other very fun things. I came home friday about the same time I left for the start of the party and after an hour or two of cooling off I crashed and slept for 2 days straight...

God that was an awesome festival... hope there is one this year as well.

Signature temporarily out of order until I get off my lazy ass to fix it.

because anarchism doesnt work and 102% of anarchists are 13 and massive goths, you should check live journal and myspace, lots of anarchist and FoB lyrics you can quote.

Wrong thread?

Shit right thread.  Man we go pretty far for tangents here.

Anarchism could work if everyone had some empathy and could behave themselves.  Most laws and stuff are because we don't trust others to behave themselves.  We never think the law is supposed to cover us even when we are breaking it.

That's just my opinion.

Surf, I hope you will notice that I am pointedly ignoring this potentially controversial topic. Wink

Anyway, what fucking sucks is that after I pull my second all-nighter of the week, I get to class and find out that the prof moved the deadline back, so I could have actually slept. I don't think I mentioned it, but the exact same thing happened on Monday. Maybe there is a god and he or she hates me. That's a horrible thought.
