I only read the first page.  I'm assuming this thread has probably degenerated BRBU style by now.  But yeah.  People are fucking idiots.  Seriously.  I work in a hospital and approach this whole thing with cautious respect.  Avoid sickos, wash your hands a lot, if someone has respiratory symptoms, wear an N95 mask around them (you can buy 3M N95s at hardware stores ffs), encourage them to get checked out (and have them wear an N95 in the ER/Urgent Care), and generally be smart about this whole thing.  Seriously, it's not that bad if you're careful.

There's *some* truth to this, germs that you get in hospitals like staff infections tend to be a lot more antibiotic resistant and much more lethal than the same types of germs in other places.

That being said, you should still wash like say, before eating or after doing something particularly dirty. You dont need to be OCD about it, as with most things moderation is key.

Wrong. You should know that when your body strengthens against something, it's against that specific bacteria/virus infection.
Here: Go learn a bit.

When you produce antibodies (or immunoglobins, Ig), it's to fight one specific bacteria or virus. Vaccines work because they give you weak/dead bacteriae/viruses to produce Igs from, so you get the 'recipe' (actually, some white blood cells that produce the right Igs), giving you an edge if you ever catch them bastards that make you sick. Given a 'healthy' microscopic invader, you will be sick, and have typical symptoms such as fever (Igs work better at high temperature*).
Anyways, since viruses evolve a lot from making lots and lots of baby viruses, they change permanently, hence why this virus was able to start from 'pig flu' to 'human flu', and hence why people fall sick from the 'normal' flu every year: their Igs aren't effective against the 'new' flu since it evolved from what it was a year ago.

So yeah, your statement is kind of... false, Mr.Grey... sorry for breaking it out for you like that. If you never get sick it may only be because you have a better system than most people, but again, I doubt you "NEVER get sick".
