Uh...not to sound jaded but A) This was done in yellow and B) Does Pokemon really need gameplay footage at this point? Until Nintendo goes out of their way to make an actual online Pokemon MMO I think it's safe to assume the basic formula is not changing. At all.

And i'm happy that the gameplay stays how it is, Pokemon is plain fun, and i love it the way it is. Or you really want some major changes? Just remember what everyone was saying after Sonic & Knuckles/3 "Sonic needs a new gaaameplay" "same ol' shit" :3

Keeping the franchise to it's core stopped after gold and silver, now we're just beating a dead horse with different kinds of colorful animaltypethings. I dunno, I bought Pearl after staying off Pokemon since Gold and Silver and it literally felt like the same chore as last time, only now instead of a broom I had a swiffer. Same shit, slightly different shape. I'm just bitchy because of the mountain of cash they are sitting on with a Pokemon based MMO, yet they seem content on releasing the same game over and over with maybe 100 "new" pokemon. Now they've taken a step back with releasing a game they already released, with a gimmic they had in a different Pokemon game. The repetition boggles my mind.

TBH you're suppose to screw around with friends, thats what was most fun for me.
Diamond and Pearl had a fuck slow tempo. One hit kill battles took 40 seconds, up from the 10-15 in previous iterations like leaf green.
Adding up the increased numbers of battles in wild grass means I'm rolling around in my grave so I can get to the next gym.
Picking fucking berries took forever.
