Now saying that 'You are a spaceship' means that quite literally, which probably means The Guardian Legend.

You look the screen from above, a number of enemies are set on the screen on certain positions and you get to choose between 3 characters. On some stages you can rescue some other characters that you can use. You main goal is to kill all enemies or go to the exit with all characters. Every character have 2 attacks, a normal one (mostly bullets) and a special one, determined by the character

How come nobody knows which game i'm talking about

Ok, my turn!

I'm thinking of a NES game where you pilot a space ship. The first level of the game is viewed from the cockpit and the second level is a side-scroller.

The ship looks like a Volvo wagon crossed with a tie-fighter.

Star Voyager perhaps?

Shit I was just about to say that....also...I own it

Unfortunately that is not it.
I am doomed to never relocate this game.

Think a little less obscure, cause I'm referring to an actual game

Pokemon
Legend of Zelda

I'm pretty sure that description fits 90 percent of the games out there

Nah Zaneyard got it, I just remembered a line from a top 10 list of most ridiculous game premises, and like #4 or #5 was pokemon, travel as an unescorted minor through the woods attempting to tame monsters that would most likely kill you.

Outside of the first game, does death even exist in Pokemon? Tongue

Nah, but I think think whenever you leave something fainted in the wild you left it a bleeding and likely dead/dying in the woods...

Goddamn.

When I was still in elementary school, mah bro of 2 years older than I got this game. We played it for a while, and he played as Mint, me as Rue, and he got bored while I tried to beat the game.

I never did because he returned it a few days later. It was a cute game.
