Steam downloads when you install the Orange Box and you can download CSS and any other game in Steam's library from Steam.

Once Steam knows that you have a game on your account, you don't ever have to purchase it again. Hell, you don't even need the discs. Steam links games with your account so if your computer goes down the shitter, you can just download the game files off of Steam.

Sometimes they do that, but I'd doubt it's a problem that occurred because you re-installed the game. JFGI.

When you say the servers aren't loading, do you mean the brbu servers aren't coming up on your favorites? If that's what you mean, you need to add them again. You can find all the IP addresses here.

What are you doing different from the first time you played the game?

I mean, you have been playing TF2 correctly before... just repeat what has worked.

Are you playing on the same computer or did you downgrade? How about your internet connection, is it the same as before or worse (that could cause freezing if you're dropping packets like a mofo). Also, did you maybe reformat your computer recently? If you did you might to install your drivers if you forgot after a clean wipe.
