When I first got out when I put gauze in there it was soaked in blood relatively quickly. After a couple hours, only half was covered, and now only a little bit is covered and that's because if I put gauze in there it opens up the clot. Also, it'd probably be a good idea to do a warm salt-water rinse each time you put new gauze in.

I got mine done by an oral surgeon, in-and-out in 45 minutes and I had minimal complications from the stitches and whatnot. The worst part was having skank breath from food getting into the sockets as they were healing.

My last wisdom tooth is half in, they couldn't take it out when they were operating on me because of my jaw problems.  It's like a midget tooth.  Thank god it's not hurting or causing any problems, although they may have more luck getting to it now that it's actually through the gums.

But I'm not really in the mood to be put to sleep and yanked on because they might be able to remove it.

For me all but one was still in the gum, but I only had one massive bleeder that needed extra stitches. After my siblings having terrible wisdom teeth experiences I think I got the good one.
