This is the 3rd or 4th time. Should I bother trying to send it in or just buy another one? Do the new ones have the same failure rates?

IIRC, the newer (post august 2008) models have a smaller failure rate because of the newer motherboards or something. Plus, I believe that Microsoft will stop sending out 360 coffins soon enough so that shipping becomes much faster.

Or maybe because the voltage on the US is higher than here (fyi this is a fact, we've got to use special adapters to be able to use most imported stuff, this includes the Xbox) |

I dunno if it is still under warranty, I got it pretty close to release. But I think each time you send it back it renews your warranty, so maybe I've just been chaining it along.
