Two of the best survival horror games I've played, and I played Silent Hill 3 (which I say was the best of the series).

Meh, mount and blade's alright,

No it's very fun and will waste hours of your time. Kind of the "well, I'll just do one more battle" and bam, it's 7 am.

They WERE supposed to add multiplayer and I haven't seen anything about that since it was 75% off a while ago...
I still love the game. and the modding community is awesome.
Some guy made a star wars mod for it. It's pretty cool.

Two of the best survival horror games I've played, and I played Silent Hill 3 (which I say was the best of the series).

I bought the Penumbra trilogy a few weekends ago for $5...which was pretty dicking stupid of me, seeing as how terrified I get about scary things. Oh well.

mount and blade is fucking awesome.
they are adding multiplayer in warband expansion meant to come out later this year

Eh, I tried out the demo and yea, it's looks fun and all, but I just don't really care for those old medieval types of games for the most part.

Curious though what that star wars mod would look like though.

It actually looks pretty dandy, but you've gotta give me a bit to download it to get some screencaps.

other than that, the whole draw of Mount and Blade is being able to work your way from wanderlusted traveller, to motherfucking king of the castle. I think I had about 5 castles last I was playing and they always got sieged, which is THE BEST kind of fighting in that game.
I got a mod that allowed me to put over the..like 100 bodies on screen to go to about 500. motherfucking epic.

I got Mount and Blade before, it's quite good, though you MUST get the mod that lets you increase the battle size.  The stock game limits it to 30-50 per side at once or something, but with the mod you can get small armies going against eachother depending on your computer.

The multiplayer is coming in what sounds like an expansion they're actually going to be selling.


And if you like strategy games and/or RPG games at all you REALLY REALLY REALLY should check out King's Bounty.
