Wow, it's been a long time since I checked up on this game. I'm gonna bump this thread with new info:http://www.guildwars2.com/en/

Biggest piece of news to me? Gunpowder weapons. This hints at a sweet gunslinger class, and I'm all for that.

In other news, the magic looks to be genuinely imnpressive. Lots of flashy effects and stuff make mages seem powerful, not like WoW with it's 90 different versions of Fireball and Magic Missile.

well, the little bit I played, it sucked balls by yourself. and when I was playing with friends: it sucked slightly less balls. Prob because we were lowbies, but imo being a lowbie shouldnt fucking suck for more than a couple hours, otherwise your game blows. I played for about a week in GW and it sucked the entire time.

It had great ideas poorly executed. Everyone is hyped about GW2 because it seems like they are finally doing a good execution.

the way they are saying that you can interact with your team-mates in combat sounds like it's worth buying if they pull it off
