And it was flat.  And you could get the hottest cars right away.  And the missions were boring, and frequently took advantage of the very mediocre camera.  I just found the terrain to be really boring.  SA had amazing and variable terrain, loved that.

<+Karrde> welp, time to learn some basic patterning skills
<@Negate> 12121212121212121212
<@Negate> there is a simple pattern
<+Karrde> I changed my mind.  Gonna cosplay as a gay demon from hell and get negate raped instead XD
<+Caffeine`work> Karrde: Gay demon? Why would you need to cosplay just go as yourself
<+FlyingMongoose> Caffeine`work: Karrde would actually have to tone it down some.

by variable you mean gray green or brown.

vice city had the cool beach part, the ritch mid islands, the city part at the north west, and the desert army place at the south west.

varied vehicles, not just gangsta cars and old cars. had the faggio which was awesome, you got to wear a hawian shirt, they didnt all speak like thick idiots and the missions were basicaly the same as SA.

each to their own i guess.

[/quote]and SA may have been the biggest GTA, but goddamn if there wasn't nothing for miles. IV had a good medium with the various styles, the wide cast of characters and nationalities, and the city that always seemed busy even though you often heard repeated phrases

I find it hard to compare the two objectively, as 2d and 3d platformers are so different. I might be on your side in that though, but only because I loved the conciseness of the exploration in world. Galaxy is still amazing though!
