I saw Ponyo. It was sickeningly adorable. I want to go see District 9 again next week if it is still in theaters.

Anybody seen 9 yet? I've seen the short film and most of the reviews I've read seem to agree that while it looks nice and has a some nice action scenes, it lacks story and character development.

My gf's sister went to see 9. When i asked how was it she said "Tim Burton" 3 times on the same phrase. When i asked her again abot the story, she said Tim Burton 5 more times.

Then i realized i didn't wanted to see that movie. Not that i don't like Burton's movies (i like the non-animated ones), but her only excuse that the movie was good was "Tim Burton" and Burton himself is just the executive producer, which, in this case, they only put him there so people wouldn't think "uuuh, a dark animated movie without Burton, it's a lame copy".

Also, i went to see District 9 and the tickets were sold out. That haven't happened since i went to see The Lion King with my parents (at least that's what they say)

I saw "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" in 3D tonight with a few friends.
I'm surprised to say that it's one of the funniest movies I've seen this year. I recommend it!

Also, parents saw "The Informant!" and said it was ok.

I thought it already was 3D--

OHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhh.

Nah.  I'm kinda wishing I saw "Up" in normal mode.  I wonder what the 3D effect does to the colors.

Just watched "next day air"

The ending is crazy

Donald Faison is hilarious

they kind of overplayed Mos defs roll, he was only in it for like 10 minutes of it

10/10 from Face Smile

However, I really liked the ending.

i realize im late on this and i apologise. isnt the ending where the baby alien gets sucked out of the space ship and first it takes like 30 seconds which was stupid and more importantly the thing says MOMMA? because that wasnt so good dude infact it was downright terrible
