A got a serious question for you guys. Currently our oil company is doing pretty well but our MT company is kinda losing us money. People are asking for raises and market wages are higher than we can afford.

We have two choices right now. We can be happy with our gains from our oil company for a while longer and buy an export license to a country with much better MT prices or we can wait to get 14 more gold and make a lot more profit on our oil company. As of right now I am leaning towards either buying an export license or shutting down the MT company until prices rise or wages fall.

You could always sell the MT company and then invest anything you make from it into the oil company.

That would be at a loss, look at the first page of the companies for sale. Moving Tickets are profitable, you just need to either be selling to a country without high oil or to be holding stock for times when people move a lot (like before an election). Either way we'd need to dump a bit of money into the MT company.

If we get an export license it will probably be to Greece, Australia or Spain.

You can do whatever you like with your MT company; as long as I (hek) gets paid, preferably my current wage, I don't care.

If you want to send it to the org, send it to BRB Uninstalling. Just go to the orgs page then click donate and change the tab to money. But I've been telling everyone to consider buying a house first.

Hmm, no shutting down the company then  Tongue

I guess export license is the way to go and we will have to wait on the oil getting to Q3. That's not too much of a big deal I don't think since we are actually starting to do pretty well with oil now. I will research where would be best for an export license and see what happens with the ticket market.

I kinda wish I hadn't bought a house, it's not really that useful. Guns would be more useful (at least for me)

If everyone that could would take a pay cut, that'd really help out the company.
I'm not asking people that are barely breaking even, because you guys need all the shit you can get, but if you're amassing a small fortune in money, it'd be appreciated.
Of course this is completely voluntary, and I won't touch your salary unless you request it.

Surf, I think we're going to need to reduce the salaries of the top three workers.  Even if they're at 100 wellness, we lose money on them.

If you wanna sell it, then sell it. I will take a paycut if you think it's necessary, but after awhile I can get better paying jobs out there and can move on.

I help how I can but I don't really make gold anymore and it woul dbe nice to be able to afford guns and level up faster.

Get to level 6 first at least  >Sad

I don't really have issue with paying you guys good wages, that's half the point of us owning stuff. I'm just trying to figure out how to make us competitive so we can do that and where best to spend our resources. The gold well is kinda drying up so I wanted to hear everyone's opinions. After this all our gold will be bought using company profits so basically we can either invest the money in the oil company and make amazing loot or we could make the MT company more profitable and pay better wages.

If you guys want to throw in your 2 cents here is our options broken down:
1) Buy an export license in a better market and get better prices or at least more options
2) Dump some cash into the MT company and save stock for when the prices jump (around the 25th)
3) Invest in the oil and be very profitable, maybe kicking some cheap stock the MT companies way and save to do #1 and #2

1 and 2 can be done simultaneously, 3 will take all our gold including the gold I need from Crow hitting 6. But it seems like 3 would make us money faster maybe giving us a shot at the other 2. Damn this is a tough decision.

If we dump our gold into Oil, how long do you think it'd take to raise the 20 gold for an export license?

We'd be making 1 gold a day but we could probably bump that up if we changed out some labor.

[/quote]I have 8 gold i could give, so that'd be a little under two weeks, maybe less?
I think we should do 3 first, then.
