Fun story:

So This week is the worldwide Associate Appreciation week at Bank of America.  I was on a ConCall and heard them announce it.  My friend(ly) coworker reminded me in email friday that It was and that we could wear jeans stating, "I'm not sure I saw you on this distribution (email) list"  - and she fwd'd me the message the woman sent out about it.

So I send her a friendly email saying - hey, not sure if I'm supposed to have received this, but I didn't so can you double check and add me if needed.

I get a reply 5 mins later: "Associate Appreciation is for fulltime employees only.  The list is correct. Have a nice day.

I'm like woooow next time slap me in the face....(i've been contracting since I started bc of the whole crash BofA has been on a need only hiring freeze...maybe I'll ask them to make me full time this week so I can appreciate them by being an associate..?)

Long story short - I'm supposed to believe that everyone - hold 5 or so temps and myself - on my floor gets to wear jeans and eat the pizza/ice cream etc.

some people have sticks up their asses Smile

trust me... I'm a 2L

Also I only have one class on Monday and Wednesday, and two classes on Tuesday and Thursday for the fall term. SLACK.

Thought that 4 hour gap between classes on TUE-THUR is lame. However, Fridays off.

Job: Super Market lacky

What I do: Check groceries and bag grocery and get carts.

Does your job have internet: The computers at my job have all been set up so that "for the safety of the employees and company, there is no internet connection or any way to access said services other then on hiring manager or store managers computer, all other (7) computers are for 'Employee training'"

Are they often used for employee training: We've never had more then 2 employees training on in our store at one time. To even access the internet requires my phone and the need for 3G. I am lucky enough to be in a 3G cloud in the area I live in. However, and let me make this

very

very

VERY FUCKING CLEAR.

NINE BUTTONS IS NOT ENOUGH FUCKING BUTTONS FOR 24 LETTERS
