Ugh i hate my teacher
We used photoshop today and i am dying to use it also everything i smell smell's like dog shit :o  Sticks and stones may break my bones (but -1s hurt forever ;_

I'm taking an online course for intro to computer science. all I can say is fuck java. I cannot code for shit and the lessons don't tell me what to do other than, here's some stuff you can't do, good luck. >

so i found out one of my friends has been messing around with pot

I mean, weed may not be the worst substance to abuse, but is it really worth the risk? You can lose your job for it, lose a relationship, lose your friends. You can never know the consequences. I stay away from anything that alters my state of mind. Somewhat because I am at a disadvantage at that state of mind, mostly because I just don't see the point. I'm happy the way I am, and if you think you need to do something like that to be happy, YOU have the problem, not the drug. It isn't really the drug so much as it is the person.
I don't think the idea of a gateway drug works. No one forces you to try other drugs once you start one. Social pressures exist, sure, but who fails them? The drug or the person? The environment has a huge influence on the person involved as well, but I think it's still important to realize that it's more the person and situation than the drug. It's the same with alcoholism. Who do you blame when alcohol is involved? The drinker, not the drink. Why should it be any different for drugs? |
