i'm interested in what you guys think about planetside, for example, what did you think of the factions and setting part? I voted to keep this potential game the same (3 factions, VS/TR/NC, sci-fi setting)

Those survey questions were so bad - I don't see those results being very useful.

Here's the freetext suggestions I submitted:
- customizable vehicle weapons - like being able to salvage a big gun off a BFR and attach it to a hard point on a Bus.

- Configurable and Destructible defensive structures. Like a way to move around the command console and alter routing. It would be nice to have to have good ghosts to scout and FIND where the CC is and what defenses are in place.

- A better point to playing the game - more consequences of taking a continent or achieving continent lock. Like additional stats bonuses/cert points / prestige weapons or vehicles while you have certain continents locked.

With regards to that, I think taking a continent should also lock it down for a period of time and/or make less links between planets with a few strategical points being keys to getting to most of them.  I guess this may have not been a problem in earlier days if every planet was full of fighting, but my biggest problem with the game now was all the stupid planet hopping and inability to keep a battle focused in one place.  I thought it might be interesting if the game actually had a "win condition" for empires, where they functionally take over everything somehow, and you get some sort of merit for doing so and then the world just resets or something (not the character progression, just the empire maps).  It could be like a month long game of 5 (10, 15?) point CP.

Loose the three factions in favor of corporations. Corps get money and perks based on bases owned. You can be a Merc and get outfitted by a corp to take bases for them. BRBU's new mission would be to blow corps money with cheap lancers and a couple of phantasms.
