I was borrowing a friend's Wii to play some games on it. I had to update it. Power surge happens during the update. He also has TvC and the japanese freeloader for it. Unneccesary to say, it's now a brick. (System menu doesn't exist and the flash is corrupted, everything else works.) Freeloader requires 3.2U to work. Wasn't a problem because the system update I was updating to you could downgrade with HBC still. So I have to buy him a new Wii, and while still hackable, you can't downgrade it anymore.

Only way to fix it is to have your stuff backed up with BootMii. I now owe him approximately $300 for everything. Wii is $199.99, plus tax. TvC is $68 or $69 plus tax. Freeloader is $19.99 plus tax. FML

I was there from wednesday to friday. I went to meet some friend that studies at the U of O...

Place lacked good looking girls, a close place to watch hockey (why isn't the Scotia Bank Center even in Ottawa?!), and heat too.
I swear it was way hotter in Montreal than in Ottawa.

We spent a lot of time looking for some of this too:
Pub George Laraque vs Octane Girls

We didn't find any =(  (neither the girls, the drink... or even Laraque)

We had more fun watching Scrubs on my friend's laptop than whatever we could do outside...
I don't want to go back to Montreal with the souvenir of Ottawa as a boring place... even if it is

We usually speak to each other in English in Montreal, because chances are some people wouldn't understand us... we never knew whether we had to speak French or English when we wanted to laugh at people. That city town sucks.


And HeK: not much is badass about downtown Ottawa (if you could call this downtown, it's nothing like any downtown I usually see)... there are rock castles right in front of recent embassies... the only good part was the giant spider. It was awesome.


It's pretty much like Nitrous said it was: new things built around older buildings, so nothing looks alike at all...
