After several months of waiting, I got not one, but TWO hats.
Spy Bowler and Fedora... I'm not sure if I should just put this is in the FML thread : Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence. -Albert Einstein |

So, when I went off to College back in August, about a week later my parents moved (something they'd been planning for most of the summer.)
They had a house leased for at least six months when it happened, and thankfully they had some savings and other sources of income, but they had not jobs lined up for the move. My Dad was just offered a job and starts November 16. |

Just seeing all these kids trick or treating is hilarious. I'm handing out candy at Hek's parent's house... so many funny little kids!
I especially couldn't help laughing at the little spiderman that just came by with his mom; he lodged a protest and just sat on the stairs with his little arms crossed, not moving. His mom said he was pooped... but lol his body language, it was hilarious. Kids are more polite than I expected too; and of course the young ones are so excited it's catching. |

I had my first Subway sandvich. Meatball Marinara with Italian cheese and herd bread, toasted, with some cucumbers. Divine! Plus a Dr. Pepper.
