Rummy thanks for putting my broken-spirit mood into a bit of perspective though.  Sorry to hear that happened.

On a much less bad note but still crummy, today was one of the worst days I've had in months... long ass work day working extra hours because of failure cart attendants on a week where I need all the time I can get to work on school at home, mixed in with me feeling sad, frustrated and overall foul and lonely during this long work day for reasons that are best left aside.  Especially in light of Rummy's situation

Hopefully in due time things will work out between you both.

Spent most of the day in the hospital with my wife. She's got the pig flu. At this moment she is pretty much all better but she had a bad night last night and I wanted to take her to the hospital. Of course now I'm probably going to get it.

Also they are rationing the hell out of Tamiflu or whatever. They wouldn't give us any unless my wife was pregnant, we said no and they wanted to test anyway  :-\

My mom keeps going on and on whenever I'm around her about "OMG YOU NEED TO GET VACCINATED NOW! SOMEONE DIED FROM IT TWO WEEKS AGO A FEW TOWNS OVER AND SHE WAS PERFECTLY HEALTHY!".

Honestly from what I hear about the vaccine and the flu itself, I'd rather take my chances with the pig flu and hopefully survive

Pig flu is basically just the most miserable flu you've ever had based on what my wife went through. Nothing too dangerous though I dont think unless you have other health problems.

Last Tuesday, my wife of 11 years told me she got caught cheating with a married co-worker by his wife (they have an 18 month old child). My wife told me she was only telling me because she wanted to get to me before the other woman did. Otherwise, she would not have told me.

Yes, I'm devastated. I'm not quite sure what the coming weeks or months will bring for me except unpredictability. So if you don't see me around for stretches, rest assured that whatever I am doing I would rather be gaming or making snarky jokes. If you do see me around I will be intent on some much needed gaming escapism.

I'm even more depressed because my back up plan was to live on a houseboat in Amsterdam but looks like someone beat me to that. I never wanted to before, but maybe I'll take Shadowcast up on his offer to wear a blonde wig and schoolgirl outfit for me.
