I bit the bullet and bought everything but a video card because all the ones on sale that I wanted were sold out. If anyone can direct me to a good video card at a good price I will be very appreciative. Also is there anyway to make a 2.5" fit in a 3.5" slot? Cuz there is a great deal on a OCZ vertex 30 gig but it's a 2.5"

you mean hdd's? you can buy a 2.5" to 3.5" bay adaptor (http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=HD-108&cat=HDD)

and don't buy a 9800gt. i'm too lazy to make a better suggestion, but use this to pick something that fits your budget

Got the 30 gig as a boot drive. Still missing a video card though  :'(. And Win7, but my mom might be able to get it cheap through the school board since she is a teacher.

I think that's a fairly old model. From what I've been hearing it is all about the i7 or i5.
