so guys


the past week, my schedule has been school, swim, eat, homework, sleep


swim makes you so ridiculously tired, sore, and hungry.  all i want to do is sleep but i have to do homework.  goodbye 4.0.


but, i have learned a couple things from swim.

1.  what the coach says is fun, hurts

2.  if you get a cramp, dont hop out and stretch.  walk it off or you'll look like a pussy.

3.  correct backstroke form is a lot like you're winding up to smack somebody in the ass

4.  diving off the block leads to a red chest unless you know what you're doing (ow D

5.  diving off the block takes a LONG time to get right (i'm still ow'ing every time D

6.  you feel ultra manly surrounded by a bunch of guys in speedos

7.  leaving practice is the only enjoyable aspect of swim

8.  dive team is for pussies

9.  the coach is fucking nuts

Be glad you didn't do crew. It's pretty much the exact same thing except it makes you more tired and is harder and gives you less time to do homework. Also the coach is even more fucking nuts.
