artillery simulators, though +1 for arty sims pic neoni.  It was a battalion field training exercise.  for some reason my platoon was touched by the hand of planning and didn't get a single day mission, all night ops, all week long.  my right eye is about ready to revolt from all the time looking through a nightvision monocle.  There were a couple nights where the illum was damn near 0% due to weather and you could barely see your hand in front of your face without nightvision.

Hmmm, last night I went to a movie with some friends, this girl that i liked invited me and insisted on paying for my ticket cuz i am broke. I accpted and met her and our friends there. We sat down in the theater and she sat next to me so I was thinkin, "alright, she may like me as well." She and some others got up to go get some popcorn, she came back holding one of my best buddies hand. Not fun.

Coach made us do a lot of windsprints today (i lost count). My entire right side decided to cramp and it hurt a lot. Then:

Also, my car died today. I got a jump, drove it home, and it died again. Sigh. I'll have to get my GF to jump it again to get to the store to buy a new battery, although I don't understand why I've had to replace it two times now in the 6 years I've had the car.

Clean your terminals and wires with a battery terminal cleaner brush (it's like stiffer wire, inside-out test-tube cleaner) and cover both with dielectric grease (or Vaseline in a pinch), tighten your clamps, but don't over tighten.

Batteries last for about five years, less if you drain them, freeze them or over charge them with a faulty alternator.
