Steam Name's Vindicare at the moment (I'm sure some of you get the reference).  I started out generally playing sniper for the most part, and occasionally soldier.  Lately I've been playing soldier a lot more, and slightly improving my skills.  I tend to have low scores because I'm too busy having fun to care so much about winning (running around with 10 hp and the equalizer is too much fun).

Anyway, I've been gaming since I got an NES back in my single-digit years.  I played counterstrike like crazy back in the day.  Lately it's all about L4D2, TF2, and the tabletop games at Games Workshop (I also work there, discount is a plus).  Occasionally, I dust off the 360 and play a few games, but the internet card is broken in it, so no online play for me.

I stumbled across one of the BRB.U servers a couple of weeks ago and couldn't stop laughing while I played.  Ever since, I try to get in as much as possible as long as the server isn't full.  I occasionally get booted for reserve slots, but it's not a big deal.  Just looking to have a good time gaming now and then, and it didn't hurt that they announced the contest while I was playing tonight.  Not a big forum person, but I'm sure I'll be on now and then now that I know about it.  Hit me up whenever I'm on if you want a game or what not.

Welcome Vindicare, and thanks for checking out the forums. We have a whole section of the forum about L4D, and you can check out who owns it and when the occasional matches are run.

Yeah I play 40k, and WFB, and LotR.  It's part of the job really, so I play all the main games by Games Workshop.

I just recently started playing Soldier a lot more because of the War.  It was a pretty good event, and it was pretty fun to be part of it, even if the numbers were perhaps manipulated.  Soldier still won, haha.
I'll play Sniper a bit more after the initial fun of the new Soldier stuff wears off.

Yeah Caff, I think my favorite game of all time is Legend of Zelda: A link to the Past on SNES, still have the console and gold cartridge.  Still have my ps1 with FF7 and MGS1. haha  My NES is around here somewhere...

I bought this MMO a while ago I believe...I don't know where I have it installed. Is it good? I played through a starter zone I believe, with a bard-like character. I also remember some kind of instanced combat that replaced PvP in the game? I was an orc or something. What do you play as? I used to adore Turbine games, I was pretty hardcore into Asheron's Call 2 for a while in High School. I played an Enchanter on Thistledown I believe.

Well, when I say I play LotR, I mean the tabletop game by Games Workshop.  I never got into the MMO for it.  I played the Warhammer Online MMO for a short while (not knowing I could've gotten a discount on it for working for GW, blast!).  It was cool, but too many people reverted to WoW before it could really become a great game.  It has apparently lost a lot of its base of players and the servers got sorta laggy.  I haven't played in forever.  Saving my lust for MMO's for SWTOR.
