I got a wii and a waterproof bikeseat for the summer since I keep my bike outside and when it rains I get a wet butt. So yeah, that's a great gift. I also didn't see it coming at all, while my dad asked me straight up about the Wii.

To answer Vongore's question: yeah we do have Wal-Marts in Canada.
But in Montreal? It'd be hard to fit in such a large building and that's why I don't think there's one near Benito.

A couple of DVDs from my cousin (Curb your Enthusiasm) that I quickly discovered that he bought used from Blockbuster. Didn't know they sold old DVDs.

And from everyone else, about $1200, almost all of which flew into my savings account or mutual funds before I could roll around in it.

I agree with Kor, it's just good to have some time with the family. The weather isn't all that nice and we might get stuck here, but it's good that we were actually able to get out here, even if only for one day.

Otherwise, HeK got me a DSi with BrainAge 2 (thank god) and Pokemon Platinum.
