Book on advanced improvisation theory and technique

Psh, you don't need a book for that. Learn scales..scales..and more scales. Then learn some chords...and then learn what kind of scales you can play inside of the chords.
Then get a band and just jam. The only way you get good at improv is by playing a lot..no matter the genre. Who's book did you get anyways? Jamey Aber?
