alright so i have my account setup and downloaded planetside, and when i go into the launcher, i can sign in, but i cant find the planetside game - not only that, but when I click other games, it brings me to the webpage to buy the game. Where is this so called free trail? I'll play it with you guys if I can try it first for a week or two.

Basically when you download the SOE beta launcher and sign up a NEW account it gives you 14 days free, all you need to do is launch PS from it. PM me on steam tomorrow night if you can't figure it out

oh got it to work. apparently I needed to restart it a few times for updates and now the whole main client is changed - works fine. See you guys sat night.

So I've played the game for a few hours and still haven't gotten to a battle, and still haven't finished all the training. I think I'll just stick with dystopia http://www.dystopia-game.com/. Its a great game, kinda similar to this, without vehicles.

Just join tomorrow, get in the vent channel, use the recommended certs and stuff. you don't need time invested at all really to play this game.

The training can give you a good jumpstart, getting you to BR3-4 if you do enough of them, but one night running with our group will get you further. If you've got decent FPS skills, just follow Caff's cert recommendations and you'll be fine.

[/quote]You can make unlimited 14 day trial accounts, it takes half an hour to an hour to get up to BR3 or 4
