The ts sound is in other languages too, I had a bulgarian friend in HS named Ivan Tsvetanov pronounced eeee-von tsveh-tahn-off (or ov). The tsveh is what gave almost every teacher trouble but I managed it fairly well. I still can't do double R's though and I think science says I may never be able to.
