not quite, but it's still impressive. reminds me of the article that posits that with intel developing ssds, there's a very real chance they'll kill the market entirely.. they've got some tech they're apparently working on where a large-ish SSD drive is built onto the mobo all prefab-style, for insanely fast boots and other stuff I forget

I'm just saying this article title says they have developed the teeny 1TB SSD while the article says they have developed a technology that may feasibly be able to allow for a 1TB SSD maybe in a few years perhaps.

Size Of The Universe

My friend just sent me this. I think it's pretty cool, then again I'm interested in (although hardly know anything about) astrophysics. Who's ready to start using gravity drives!?

Who knows. Maybe going to hell and back builds character.

On note of the universe: Issac Asimov's Multivac Short Story
http://www.multivax.com/last_question.html

Its really really interesting, and presents a dichotomy of theological ideas.

Quote:In 2009, Mount Roraima served as inspiration for a location in the Disney/Pixar animated movie Up.[8] The Blu-ray version of the movie disc bonus footage features a short film (called Adventure Is Out There) about some of the Pixar production team going to Mount Roraima and climbing it for inspiration and ideas for the making of Up.

I've watched at least a half-hour of documentary footage on that disc, and I still haven't seen this. TO THE DVD PLAYER!
