All of the classes I wanted to take this spring aren't really options any longer. Every thing I consider blows the fuck up in my face:

History of Western Science & Medicine: Full; 25+ waitlist
Psychopathology: Full, 50+ waitlist
Statistical Methods in Psychology: Full, initially no waitlist available, now about 10 people on it. It's at a terrible time too.
Introduction to Neuroscience: Available, but the reviews all say that this is a terrible course with a terrible professor. I'll probably end up taking it anyways since I can't find anything else.
Chinese Literature: Full, but a new section should be opening up. Too bad it isn't anywhere in sight yet and my registration time is inching ever closer.
Introduction to Philosophy: Not being offered this term.
Introduction to Fiction: Not being offered this term.
Physiological Psychology: Not being offered this term.

So right now the only class I'm SURE I'm taking is Chinese. I might be taking a dumbass biology course to pad my GPA and prime me for next year, a seemingly nonexistent Chinese literature class, and the worst psychology class as seen by students.

We use a "quarter" system, which really amounts to trimester: Fall, Winter, Spring.

I could only get into two class and am waitlisted for another two. I was barely able to maintain the minimum units to live on campus this quarter so I feel your pain eightball :'(

i never picked classes until 2 weeks after term had started. can you not randomly show up to a class and sit in; that way if people no-show/decide to drop, you ask the professor to sign an add form letting you into the class?

sucks about all the interesting classes being mega-full or not offered the current term, that was always the story for me :S
