Went to Jay Peak this weekend (border of VT and Canada). Awesome conditions, great time. I don't ski often, so every time I go out it's an adventure...
this time the 2nd to last run on sunday we took a left down a black diamond and it turned out to be a REALLY steep face for a good section. I went down after my friends - about 25% down i turn too fast and fall hard on my side....from there i slid at like 10 mph down the rest of that section before coming to a stop, standing up looking around at all the people on the lift cheering me on, and finally skiing to my friends where they told me i must have slid over 100-200 feet down the hill.... I didn't lose a ski and have a tiny bruise on my thumb annnnd it looked hilarious, so in my eyes, I had quite the win  also some hot chick stayed with us (group of 8) for the weekend...so that was an unexpected bonus trust me... I'm a 2L |

I live in FL and I have a snowboard and I'm actually pretty good at it and I haven't been able to go in like 3 years because I'm too old to mooch off my parents/grandparents to go on their annual ski trip and too broke to buy the tickets. Eff you Savage >
