Not really, NATO style resealable cases come in all sorts of sizes.

Here's a guy who stuffed a mini-ATX puter into a 12x6xx7 inch .50 cal box: http://www.mini-itx.com/projects/ammolan/

Thankyou Hek, you beat me to it.  And you're thinking of an Ammo Crate, diggs.  OHHHH SEMANTICS YEAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.  *puts on shades*

Actually a .50 cal box is one of the smaller ones, I think the biggest is for linked .556 for SAWs 4x200round drums. oh yeah, linked 30mm grenades for MK19.  You could get away with a full ATX mobo with that thing.

I wish I had jumped on the crates of Mosin Nagants when you could get like 5 of them for 300 bucks. I'd make the crate into a coffee table.

Ok, that's 40mm for a mk19, some private would have owned me on that one.  But I'm going to be on the lookout for one of these boxes now.

Humanity will be there, in our lifetime.

Great find, Caff.

For 12 grand, you could buy a few hundred Mosin Nagants. They're 100 dollar rifles, tops. I actually own one, haven't shot it yet though. A couple websites had crates of 5-10 rifles each in them for about 3-400 bucks a few years ago.

The desert southwest can offer similar sunsets and otherworldly landscapes, and you don't even have to leave the earth's surface to get there!

Fuck that I want to go to mars, just have NASA fake an oil discovery and I'm sure every oil company from Haliburton to Royal Dutch Shell will be scrambling to put people there.

That would mean that Mars had been shrouded by massive forests at some point in its past.

I will not be going to space until it becomes so fucking commonplace it's like getting on a plane to the states or something. The idea of suffocating and otherwise dieing in space... is not at all appealing to me. I would be fucking terrified to have a thin barrier between me and that at all times.
