If you haven't seen "The Road", you should.

What a sad movie, but also strangely touching. I feel like I should be crying but I just can't.

Yeah, there were suttle hints that they had to do it a few times (which would suck to have to put that all up again). Like the fact that they already had paint on them before the end.

Pay attention, this is how you write an editorial, you back up every assertion you make

Only problem with their editorial is that they aimed it at Conservatives. If they had started it with Dear GOP or Dear Republicans then sure I could actually support that. But the things they mentioned and cited are not conservative values. Conservatives didn't support bank bailouts, conservatives didn't support the stimulus package, conservatives support PAYGO (as long as congress has the authority to spend on a particular program which 9 times out of 10 they don't). Conservatives don't support members of congress voting themselves treasure on the backs of tax payers.

Conservatives demand lawful government as enumerated in the Constitution and explained by the founding fathers. Not the twisted interpretations that are changed by the whims of the moment.

The GOP and the Democrats have become one party with 2 marketing departments.

I think the broad label fits, it cites examples of problems within the various conservative groups that consider themselves separate from the party as well. Namely racism and ill-informed positions (keep your government our of my medicare).
