That's mostly true. In reality, it depends on a number of factors in how the PSU's electronics are structured. I should shut up before I start to look like I'm out-nerding everyone else :x

Update: My dad told me that'd he'd just double the funds I have by the end of the semester, which totaled would be about 502 dollars. Think I'll get the case, the processor, the mobo, and the RAM with that money and just Salvage over anything else until I get money for the less necessary parts.

But what happens when you just want one can at your desk and you want it cold? Well, plug in this small single-can beverage cooler into a USB port and chill a can on your desk. Then you won't have to get up to get your drink.
