A broke person would not press a worthwhile case if he thinks his lawyer will be outmatched and then he has to pay for the expensive other lawyer. |

[/quote] That is quite unfortuantly what happened to the lolicon case in Iowa. The guy could have very easily won the case had he had the funds to fight it at all. Due to the lack of money however he wound up going to jail over bull shit that is easily an incredibly corrupt double standard of law. Unconstitutional actually, since the law protects freedom of speech and anything involving artistic merit. Even without that artistic merit (pron), they still can't do anything as the law is only supposed to go so far as to protect REAL children not fictional ones. |
