I'm getting some good games for my laptop for this weekend and I decided to go for recommendations. My laptop works well enough (I can play Fallout 3 and such on it), so really I just need some good free/cheap game recommendations. I know AvP2000 is on sale now, does that have singleplayer? Also, emulators are chill. So suggest away.

I think Osmos could work, it might be a little tough to play with the mousepad, but it's really fun and really small

I would say X-com (ufo:enemy unknown) but it only uses the mouse for controls. Shouldn't be an issue as it's a turn based strategy.

Yeah, I got the X-Com pack on steam back when it was about $2. And I don't mind some if it's slower games. But if it's something like an FPS it's not gonna be easy... |

Geometry wars works pretty nicely with a trackpad. Just change the aiming system to orbit.
Audiosurf's cool too if you get some headphones. Oh, and if you computer can handle it. Trackmania Nations Forever <-- free   Simple arrow controls.

2.4mb sig ã(ಠâ¿â¿à² ã)      (â¯à² â¿â¿à² )â¯ï¸µbıs qɯ4Ë2 |

Yeah, I was gonna say Osmos, Geometry wars, etc. Osmos can be challenging at times too. But in general, it's a very nice, chill game.
<+Karrde> welp, time to learn some basic patterning skills <@Negate> 12121212121212121212 <@Negate> there is a simple pattern <+Karrde> I changed my mind. Gonna cosplay as a gay demon from hell and get negate raped instead XD <+Caffeine`work> Karrde: Gay demon? Why would you need to cosplay just go as yourself <+FlyingMongoose> Caffeine`work: Karrde would actually have to tone it down some. |

You could get "I Wanna Be The Guy" and throw your lappy across the room.

You should also check out gog.com for some older games. Prices are pretty reasonable and they usually have deals on games from certain publishers. Heroes of Might and Magic II, Fallout 1/2, Jagged Alliance 2, and Lord of the Realms 2 are suggestions off the top of my head.
