Alan Wake

Today, Microsoft Chile invited me and another editor from the website i write into (www.gamercafe.cl) to play a preview of Alan Wake, which will be out on stores on a couple weeks.

To due a compromise, i can't post any spoilers of the game, but we were allowed to do a Preview.

If you're interested on the game, you can read the preview on my website, be warned that it was in Spanish, so all information was translated due to the magics of Google.

While I can't say I was all that excited by game, it did look interesting at least.  I might give it a rental.

Of course, we had a lot of interviews with ACE Team when they first released the first game, and now they send us some emails when they have a big announcment (Protip: For almost a day, we had the exclusive that Attlus had bought the rights to publish Zeno Clash on XBLA, but neither Destructoid or Kotaku believed us because we're a filthy Latinamerican website).

To be honest (and this is top secret, hope Microsoft Chile doesn't lurk brb.u) The flashlight wasn't the real big deal.. I mean it's awesome to blind your oponents with the light so you can shoot them.. but that lantern sucks energizer (yes, in game ad) batteries like a madman. In one round i must have used at least 12 batteries. You can also focus the light radius of your flashlight, the smaller the best, but it takes more batteries to do so

this game used to be on my radar, like 3 years ago when i bought this quad core. i googled for games that were being developed to take advantage of it and this was one of the few.

happily wating for PC release in 6 months. then pyrate in retaliation.
