That and a 360 controller isn't even functional for a fighting game... (I have a Hori EX Turbo though, so I can get it for 360... someday).

I use a TE stick, which is superb. (and I'm modding it to work with a PS3 here soon for tournaments)
also this game is totally worth every penny. I'm loving it online, player matches in it are awesome, gameplay is overall good, and there's a character for everyone.

Watch it, then if you want to learn more about your character/the game go to dustloop.com or shoryuken.com. The 2D, etc. will get confusing at first, but it's layed out like a num pad on your keypad.

Just got blazblue after my roommate introduced me to it, shit is so weird.
I'm playin online and 60% is ragna, 20% is jin, 9% is hakumen, and 1% is everything else. After 110 games I finally unlocked the "Play against all characters online" achievement. Thats 110 battles out of 12 characters, thats one arakune, bang, litchi, rachel, nu, tager... etc. per 110 battles Shit sucks man. I main Rachel/Tager, but I find Tager to be a bit more fun even though Rachel's playstyle is really nice too. I had it for the 360 about 4 months ago then sold it because I realized how badly balanced it was, and how I only liked one character out of 12. Not to mention the one character with a loop that only a couple people from the cast can escape from reliably without getting caught back in it. At least in Marvel 2 you can avoid most infinites if you know what you're doing, and that game is even more disparate in balance than Blazblue. Whiff one throw tech from any Carl player who knows the loop, and GGPO. Not to mention no character should have full-screen combos like V-13.
This game has only 12 characters, you'd really think it'd be quite simple to playtest. Yet a game which received hardly any playtesting at all is more solid fundamentals wise. Basically, I want a new Guilty Gear, if they don't fix anything in Continuum Shift I'm just not going to play Blazblue, but until then I've got SSFIV, Marvel 2 (Which STILL has entirely new stuff being discovered in it even though it's 11 years old) Street Fighter II HD Remix, Tatsunoko vs Capcom , Melty Blood Actress Again, and Marvel 3 coming next year as well as a pretty much confirmed new Darkstalkers.
