So after i mowed the lawn i went to the gas station to get some snacks (monster and gummy worms). After getting my stuff and putting it in a bag i biked back home. about 1/4 the way there i heard a loud "clank" noise next to me. I stopped and turned around and found 1 of my monsters (2 for $3 sale Big Grin) had fallen out. I picked it up and saw it was leaking at the very bottom of the can. I tried to put my finger on the leak and tried biking home, obviously this was a bad idea from the start and soon began to fall apart. It began leaking again and my bag was now soaking wet (bag around my wrist, same hand holding monster, gravity, etc). I stopped next to this tiny playset area next to the church about 5 or 6 blocks from my house and put my mouth on the leak. After about 5 minutes of this i tipped over the can so it wouldn't leak and tried biking home again. before i could even get out of the church parking lot i heard another loud "clank" noise and noticed my other can had fallen out of the bag. Picked up this one and, fortunately, there were no leaks (just a big dent in it). Threw the bag away and went back to the playset, opened the can of the leaking monster, and chugged all of what was left of the 16 oz energy drink. Biked home with the other monster in my pocket, and the gummy worms in my hand.

long story short: chugged 16 oz of monster after a shit storm, learned to always double bag my stuff

update to my last post:

I decided that drinking out of a hole in my can was so much fun, that i would do it again... on my couch... an entire flight of stairs from the closest sink.

That is probably the quickest an idea of mine went from "Awesome" to "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

Our second grill has rusted to the point of falling apart. Anyone have any grill buying tips? I need to start looking soon and I don't want this to happen again. The starter housing has fallen apart so I have to start it by match. I think I should retire it soon for safeties sake.

option a) buy the cheapest one you can get from home depot or wall-mart - 49 bucks or so and plan to replace it every 18-24 months

option b) buy something nicer like a swell green egg and store it in a garage

Anything in-between is a waste.

Yea you are right, we bought something a little nicer this time and it still rusted to shit. We don't have a garage so it looks like we should just go cheap as hell. I really wanted one of the ones with the cast iron grills though  :-\ (I was going to get them for this grill but I never got around to it).

I live in a hipster commune. That would probably get me shunned.
