richard was interesting in how he actually got a plot. and how although it wasnt really said he ends up realizing he was just a tool in the game not far from how ben was used. he thought he was important and jacob really had his back but in the end of things he got used and would have been much happier dead. "its nice to finally see you out of those chains richard" really sums his arc up. he kinda looked down on ben a lot of times for blatantly being a pawn to jacob and never even getting the chance to meet the guy and then turns out hes not a whole lot better off. i was happy to see how jacob wasnt a clear cut good guy and man in black wasnt a clear cut bad guy. they both had solid reasoning for what they did it wasnt complete black and white how it was first presented

still the major thing that pissed me off is they never explained the fucking electromagnetism, they just sorta said "oh the light does that OR SOMETHING" and we never get a decent explanation

yeah id honestly rather have them not completely botch an explination. plus its not like any of them understood it anyway. jacob had no idea what was with the light he just knew it was his job to protect it. he sure seemed surprised with what happened when he threw his brother in there. i liked jack making hurley the new big dog and seeming kinda confused by the ceremony etc it kinda summed up the fact that even the supposed leader was confused as to what exactly was happening

Bigger, Stronger, Faster and Do The Right Thing are 2 great examples also, apparently I am racist because I watched Do The Right Thing earlier and the take-away lesson I learned was "it's because of shit like this that you people live in the ghetto and will never get out. Did you really do the right thing by burning down Sal's Pizzeria Mookie? Did you?" Spike Lee says only white people will question Mookie's actions. Quote:One of many questions at the end of the film is whether Mookie 'does the right thing' when he throws the garbage can through the window, thus inciting the riot that destroys Sal's pizzeria. The question is directly raised by the contradictory quotations that end the film, one advocating non-violence, the other advocating violent self-defense in response to oppression. Spike Lee himself, however, has stated that only white viewers ask this question. Lee believes the key point is that Mookie was angry at the death of Radio Raheem, and that viewers who question the riot's justification are implicitly valuing white property over the life of a black man. i always thought sal was kinda a dick but didnt untimately deserve what he got with his place getting burned. them burning down sals pizzaria obviously wasnt completely about sal though it was just generally saying were tired of the white man being here opressing us and trying to make money off of us etc not so much just we hate sal we blame him for everything. he was just a very good example of what they hated

You know, an enterprising fellow with a hazmat suit, a bullhorn, and some hastily constructed decontamination showers could make one hell of a video at this place.Â
