you really hadn't seen that yet it comes on spike once a month

i dont think karth has cable
shouldn't watch cable for movies.

Unless you're watching stargate hungover on scifi at 10am on a thursday.

That was the best birthday ever.
come on dude its like 3pm on a saturday and you're too fat to go to blockbuster what do you do?
I get a movie in the mail from blockbuster online, and if I really need a movie, I just trade-in one of my mail DVD's for a DVD at my local Blockbuster. It's pretty convenient, especially considering Blockbuster Online sends us free blu-ray.
now that netflix instant has nearly every criterion collection available for streaming, you really shouldn't be using blockbuster.
Eh, if we find a reason to switch, we will. Besides, the only thing we could use for instant streaming is my PS3 since my blu-ray player can't connect to the internet (which is retarded) and my parents are way too lazy to try and figure out how to use my PS3.

And Airmax, I do have cable, I just don't watch TV much.

So I just watched Metal - A Headbanger's Journey. Let me say, that was probably my favourite documentary ever. Right after watching it, I literally could't stop listening to loud music and headbanging. My fuckin' room was shakin' from the volume

Yea that was a pretty sweet documentary.

The same guy did the Iron Maiden tour documentary from 2 years ago, also worth a watch if you're even slightly interested in that band.
Do up "Global Metal" too (it's sort of a sequel to "Metal: A Headbanger's Journey").  It's not quite as good as "Metal", but you'll learn about Sex Machineguns.

"Iron Maiden: Flight 666".  I've got it waiting for me at the library, but I'm not sure I want to watch it yet.  Going to see them live in a month (for the first time), and I'm worried it'll spoil the experience a bit.  From what I can tell, it's mostly a concert film.

I'm gonna be seeing them this month live for the 2nd time, saw them when they did the tour 2 years ago.

Vid isn't so much the concerts, as it is about the band and behind the scenes.  It has a 2nd disk with all the tracks in different cities, but the documentary itself is well worth watching.

The Hurt Locker was pretty good, but I still think UP or Up in the Air should've won best picture.  :-\

Going Postal made by the BBC based on the terry pratchett book is the best terry pratchett adaptation to date. Go download it.

Couple of predictable twists within, but otherwise I enjoyed it.

Shitty music/score too.  Annoyed the fuck out of me.  Then, I think it was nominated for an Oscar, and made something pop in my brain.

Oh boy, lot of movies to see this week. I've got Lawrence of Arabia, koyaanisqatsi, The Producers, Tron, Lost in Translation, The A-Team, and friggin two series to finish off. I'll just wrap it all in a big post when I'm done.
