What was supposed to be my last big outing (2 weeks in planning) with friends before hopping on the train back to Texas (can't make rent) has gone from an attendance of over a dozen to a party of one. Apparently a "Donkey Show" is more interesting than Toy Story :|

One Is the Loneliest Number  for Three Dog Night  (lyrics and download)

I feel you Sad

I don't understand why all my sister's friends and her fiance's friends are socially reasonable people while my few friends are basically variations of the above crap

So I am carting around the on-call phone for third line technical support for a certain shindig that Canada is putting on this weekend... and I get called by a certain lazy-ass help-desk tech about a problem. I call the user directly, and find out that his problem cannot wait until Monday and I have to drive into work. On my way to work, the user gets going again (apparently the problem just went away) and called the help desk back, who failed to call me.

An hour later, I finally get into the office and get all my systems up and logged in. I couldn't find the problem and called the user only to learn that his message was never relayed. I never wonder why that same help-desk tech is still on the help-desk after working for us for 15 years.

In other news, the tip of my right-hand index finger is still numb after using a bunch of spray paint.... It's been six days.

So as some of you know I put an email I forgot the password to as the contact email for my apb account

APB will not let me change this without being able to get on the email

After countless guesses I did the whole verify email thing

Gmail cannot verify that this account belongs to me.

raped like paper ripped with ease etc etc

I guess there is this virus going around that goes after the throat and ears. I don't know if I have it but I've been having the symptoms for a couple days, it just won't commit. But then yesterday when I was playing APB I got super dizzy and felt like I was going to pass out so I called the doctor and they told me I probably have this virus.

I just really hate wishy-washy diseases. I want to either be sick or not sick I hate feeling just tolerably crappy all the time.

i don't feel bad for anyone who forgets passwords when there's easy, free ways to manage passwords.
