You can't redeem points until APB gets released for real. They only gave 10 hours because they didn't want people getting too much of an advantage. Also the game comes with 50 hours you get when the game goes live on Tuesday.

I haven’t played enough to know..I only played an hour or so this weekend.

What’s the end-game? Just get the sickest weapon/car/look in the game? Do you.. own parts of town or something? How does a clan or whatever “win”? Or do anything besides drive around together?

Leveling gets you access to new weapons, cars, upgrades and customization options. So that is the grind, kitting yourself up with the best stuff. Also since weapons are very rock/paper/scissors it's best to have a variety of weapons and to roll with a group with different roles. Like when I had a shotgun and vandam had a sniper rifle we did very well, when we all went LTL we got our asses handed to us.

As far as endgame the servers keep track of the best players and clans in various stats and the weekly winners get to be on a statue. They are also going to be expanding the types of districts over time. The first confirmed addition will be a chaos district where it is open engagement. They have also been talking about territory control and letting clans take over a HQ in a district. But obviously they have to work that out with the fact there are instances.

On a side note I'm starting to think that maybe we should make criminal characters sometime later. From what I've been reading they play very different and it will help keep the game fresh.

Also I'm reading that they are going to be introducing clan leagues. So we need to get our muscle up.

I would love to own a couple city blocks, and get “rent” from the business that we control/protect. Then you use those funds to buy clan cars, guns, etc. Then you would have turf wars, alliances, and all kinds of fun.

It would be really easy to play tons of hours if the game was like that.

Yea because they are hinting at something like what Trick is saying in the future but in the near future the first thing we are getting is Chaos districts. Those are confirmed.
