For me, UP had a really sad opening (seriously, if you didn't bawl you're a robot), but what really got me was the scene of him looking at his wife's adventure book (up on the paradise falls). The pure raw emotion of that scene is one that's implanted in my memory, and honestly, I'm probably going to think of that whenever I think of a heartwarming emotional moment. For me, the last scene was a happy one. In the end, they all knew that Andy hadn't forgotten about them and he loved them enough to make sure they were well taken care of. The scene that had me tearing up (YES I FUCKING TEARED UP AT TOY STORY. WANNA FIGHT ABOUT IT?) was: ******SPOILER ALERT******** When they're sliding into the incinerator and and they all just hold on to each other, resigning themselves to death. That shit was depressing. 11:35 Socks Greatbacon_work: Just accept the idea of enemas. |

Quote:I'm going to speak plainly in a language everyone can understand. M. Night Shyamalan's THE LAST AIRBENDER is a hate crime against film lovers. No one should ever have to endure what I was unexpectedly put through yesterday afternoon watching this murky 3-D shitstorm of a movie that appears to have been shot through unflushed toilet bowl water, which, upon reflection, seems 100 percent appropriate. :'( |

See, the problem with The Last Airbender is... M Night Shyamalan. He could've directed it, but should not have written it and produced it. When I saw the creators of the show in the executive producers credits, I'm wondering why they let that man have that much creative control over the movie. Dev Patel and the guy who played Iroh can act. The guy who played Iroh played his role perfectly. Dev Patel can act, but not in the way M. Night Shyamalan wanted him to. They could've just gotten the people who played the characters in the cartoon, and even though they look NOTHING like them, if they hired them to act their characters, they'd have done it 10x better than who Shyamalan got (except Iroh since the person who played him is dead.)
