What looks better?

So I've got a 1983 GMC S15. It was given to me by my Nanny after my Poppy passed away. It was my Poppy's last project before he succumbed to brain cancer. It holds alot of sentimental value to me, and I want ot make it the best looking machine on the road. A family friend has been doing body work on it, and it's ready to paint. Now this is where my problem lies. I can either get it just straight up red, or go with something different. I have in mind a 2 tone Black/Red combo.




This is what the truck would look like, similar colour, not so high but bigger tires, and better shape

This is what I had in mind, with the grey being the red from above.

Personally, I'm for the two tone. I think it looks sharp, and not too loud. However, the flat red looks good, and it's what my family seems to want.

So BRBu, I ask, What looks better?

Candy red. Keep it clean.

The two tone is tacky... Before you know it, you'd have chrome rims on it and los federales on your tail because they mistook you for a Mexican drug dealer.

Two tone is not tacky on these types of trucks. Black/Red most definitely.

I went with Two-Tone. It's gonna be black on top, red on bottom, with a thin silver stripe between the 2. This ride is gonna look bitchin'
