The Offical Minecraft BRB,u Omega Thread [SMP Server Up]

It works like this :

The torches will power the red stuff (redstone), switches will also power redstone.

This means that if you connect a switch to a torch with some redstone, you can turn on/off the torch.

Now if you have a switch, some redstone to a torch and then some more redstone and a torch, you'll have one torch that is on, and one that is off.

The switch will then work like this :

You switch it on and the torch in front will go off, while the torch that is the farthest away from the switch will be on.

A door that is powered will be open/closed, in this case it's going to be closed when it's not powered.

This means that as long as it's powered, it's going to be open.

So if we turn off two switches on the left, the second torch will go on and power the door, opening it.
If we turn on the two switches on the left, the power will die and the door will close.
