It just didn't come off as a movie I would really enjoy seeing by myself and shelling out the $10 for. I love the social aspect of movie watching, discussing afterwards, etc... the kinds of movies I like to watch by myself would be old movies or very introspective movies. Action-y looking blockbusters don't fall under that so I guess I treat it with a different mindset in a way.

EDIT: though you do all have a point. I s'pose what I really want to do is to simply go out and do something with people while enjoying something that is of interest to me and them, and inception sounds like a winnar

I have to agree with Jax with this, I went to see Toy Story 3 with 3 of my friends, and It was infinately better. We Slammed the fucking movie, don't get me wrong, it was entertaining and I was shocked to learn that the Ken Doll was played by Michael Keaton, but sometimes it's fun to shit on a movie. My favorite line of the night:

Andy:"I'm going away--".

Stealth: "To war."

Me:"Yeah, This is a prequel to Johnny Got His Gun."

I would personally like to see a movie like inception alone and an action movie with friends. If a movie is going to invoke deep thought, I'd rather contemplate it alone for awhile first. If it's going to be surface entertainment then I'm all over whooping it up with mah frendz

So my old as fuck house has a pump water in the return line for our air conditioning unit.  Well, the pump broke, spilling a good amount of water in our basement, which we had to mop up, then shut off the ac to stop the leaking water.  Fuck, not how I wanted to spend my first day off this week
